The Robotics team will be traveling to West Valley High School on Thursday (3-21) for the second of two events.  The students have worked really hard at building their robot and they are ready for action.  Good luck to team #3220 and the “Mechanics of Mayhem”.   The competition will run through Saturday (3-23).  Games and meets for spring sports will begin when the snow melts.  Please continue to check the athletic website for the most current information about spring sports.  As we move toward the last week in the third quarter I would like to remind everyone that spring break is April 1 through April 5.  School will resume on April 8.  Staff will be available for conferences on March 28 from 12:30 to 7:00.  If you would like to set up a conference with any teachers please contact the teacher directly.  March 28 and March 29 will be early release days, and the office will close at 2:00 on March 29.  We will also hold our signing day celebration on March 29 at 8:30, congratulations to all our seniors for their accomplishments.  On Thursday (3-21) Mr. Hammond will administer class survey options for the 2019-20 school year.  Students will choose classes they would like to take for next school year.  LHS is in the process of working with EWU to offer College in the high school for 2019-20.  This will be offered to juniors or seniors who are taking Honors English and Spanish 3.  Mr. Pendon and students in grades 5-12 band and choir will put on their spring concert Wednesday (3-27) at 7:00 in the high school gym.  The band boosters will be sponsoring a “dessert first” in cafeteria at 5:45.  The third quarter will come to an end on March 22.  Report cards will be available on Skyward Thursday (3-28); students will receive a hard copy as well.  Liberty High School will host the District FFA event on Wednesday (3-20) from 9:00-12:00.  Anyone who is interested in taking Drivers Education, the spring class will begin April 9.  911 Driving school will hold classes at Liberty each morning prior to school starting, for more information please call 324-0911.
