    Mrs. Stombaugh's 4th Grade Class
Hello and welcome to 4th grade in Mrs. Stombaugh's class! I am so happy to be starting my 7th year of teaching at Liberty (14th year of my teaching career). I hold a Bachelors degree in Spanish from WWU (Western Washington University) and a Masters in Teaching from WSU-V (Washington State University - Vancouver). I am also endorsed in ESL. My family is made up of my wonderful husband Adam, my animated almost-7-year-old girl Remy, my reserved 5-year-old Mara, and my rambunctious 2-year-old Maisy.
I am excited about what this 2019-20 school year has in store and am very much looking forward to working so closely with my colleagues Tiffany Buys and Alex Saywers. Each of us will be specializing in a subject again this year and having all the 3rd and 4th graders rotate through our classrooms for the core areas of Reading (Mrs. Stombaugh - 4th Grade) and Math (Mrs. Buys - 4th Grade, Mr. Saywers - 3rd Grade). We are eager for this unique opportunity to best help your children develop their skills and knowledge in these subject areas.
Here you will find helpful links to many of the topics that we are learning in 4th grade. I hope that my webpage can serve as a resource to gain access to some helpful tools to strengthen your child's understanding of some of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
Communication is of utmost importance to me. Please feel free to call or e-mail any time!
