Each Friday afternoon we will send out our “This Week at Liberty” email, which highlights the various activities that will occur during the upcoming week.  If you would like to receive email notifications for events at Liberty, email kwrenchey@libertysd.us

To view events scheduled beyond the next week, visit our home page at www.LibertySD.us, where you’ll find the monthly district calendar located toward the bottom.

We’re super excited for Monday and the start of instruction in the buildings!

Starting this Monday, September 21st, we will begin our Hybrid A/B schedule.  All students in the A Group will be attending school on Monday and Tuesday.  Students in the B Group will be attending school on Thursday and Friday.  Wednesday, students will work remotely from home.  Below are a couple video links from our Principals, Mr. Saywers and Mr. Fletcher, walking you through the check-in procedure for all students.

Attestation Cards- Please remember to complete an attestation card for your student each day they attend school.  If you have misplaced the first set of cards given at the conferences, a blank form is attached to this email for printing.

    Picture Day

With remote start and later, the Hybrid A/B schedule, scheduling school pictures needs to be done a little differently.  B Group students will have their pictures on Thursday October 1st.  A Group Students will have pictures on Monday October 5th.  The buildings will send out packets and more information as the picture days near.  Full remote learning students may be scheduled by the offices on one of the days as well.

    Bus Drivers Needed

Liberty needs substitute bus drivers!  If you’ve ever considered learning to drive a bus (or putting your existing CDL to use), now is a great time to act.  All training is provided by the district, and any expenses incurred during the licensing process will be reimbursed on a set schedule once you begin to work at Liberty.  This is a great opportunity for stay-at-home parents, grandparents, or part-time workers with morning and/or afternoon availability.  Application materials are available HERE.  Contact Rick Brash, transportation supervisor, at 245-3217 if you have any questions.

We’re really looking forward to our students coming back into the buildings!

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Please stay safe and thank you all so much for your support and patience as we’re rolling out the start to the new school year!

    Thanks and take care!
