    Student Drama Opportunities

The Inland Empire Theatre (a nonprofit children’s theatre based in Rosalia) is inviting any Eastern WA youth in grades 1-12 to audition for their upcoming production of Annie Jr.  The musical will take place June 21-23 at the Tekoa Empire Theatre; rehearsals will begin May 16 at Rosalia High School.  Auditions will be held March 12 and 13 at either Tekoa or Rosalia.  Please see the attached flyer for the details and feel free to share this information with anyone who might be interested.  Contact Collin Pittmann, Inland Empire Theatre Executive Artistic Director, with questions: 509.288.2534, www.inlandempiretheatre.com.

Our Junior Boosters are once again sponsoring a visit from Missoula Children’s Theatre for their production of Gulliver’s Travels the week of March 18-22, with the performances on Friday, March 22.  This opportunity is open to all Liberty students in grades K-12.  More information will be provided as we get closer to the performance week.

    Substitute Custodians Needed

We are in need of additional substitutes for custodian coverage.  These shifts are typically afternoon/evening assignments on an as-needed basis.  Click here to apply, or contact Aaron Fletcher for more information at afletcher@libertysd.us or (509) 245-3229.

    Bus Drivers Needed

Liberty needs substitute bus drivers! If you’ve ever considered learning to drive a bus (or putting your existing CDL to use), now is a great time to act. The need for substitute drivers increases during the busy winter athletics season. All training is provided by the district, and any expenses incurred during the licensing process will be reimbursed on a set schedule once you begin to work at Liberty. This is a great opportunity for stay-at-home parents, grandparents, or part-time workers with morning and/or afternoon availability. Application materials are available HERE. Contact Rick Brash, transportation supervisor, at 245-3217 if you have any questions.
