LIBERTY YOUTH BASKETBALL

WHO: (3rd-5th grade GIRLS) and (3rd-5th grade BOYS) 

WHEN: December 13th through mid February

COST: $35.00

 

 

 

Please meet in the Lancer Gym for the first night to get assigned to your coaches and to turn in paperwork.  

Start Date for Girls is Dec 13th

Girls practicing on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 Jr High School Gym & Lancer Gym

Start Date for Boys is Dec 14th

Boys practicing on Tuesdays 6:00-7:30 Jr. High & Lancer Gym

 

Game Schedule as follows with games starting 

8:30 for 5th graders 

9:30 for 4th graders 

10:30 for 3rd graders

All home Boys games will be in the Liberty Gym 

All home Girls games will be in the Lancer Gym

 

1/08/2022    Games will be held at Liberty against Potlatch

1/15/2022  Games will be held at Liberty against SJEL

1/22/2022  Games will be away @ Colton

1/29/2022  Games will be held at Liberty against Gar/Pal

2/05/2022  Games will be away @ Colfax  

 

For the home games we will need help with Referees and also Score Clock keepers and bookkeepers.  Please come prepared to help!

We will not be having concessions this year.

Greetings!  I hope this letter finds you excited to get the basketball season started for the little ones!  We are looking forward to the upcoming season!  Please click on the link below to register your child. You must be a student at Liberty (girls grades 3-5 and boys grades 3-5), the cost to participate is $35.00 and the required paperwork must be completed.  Please keep in mind this is a parent organized activity, we NEED and appreciate your help, especially when we host games!  Please print off the paperwork, fill it out, and bring it to the first practice. I have included a link to the website where the forms are posted.

Practices: 

Girls practice Monday/Wednesday evenings 6-7:30

Boys practice Tuesday evenings 6-7:30

First Practice: December 13th

Please remember:
-Clean gym shoes
-Water bottle
-$35.00 to participate
-Paperwork available on link above
-A 28.5 (girls) basketball, not required but it really helps!!

Referees:
This is always a tough area for us to fill volunteers.  We need people who have experience with basketball to referee the games.  We want to give everyone a positive experience when they come to Liberty.  If you are willing to referee (this is also a large teaching job for the little ones) we would really appreciate it.  Please, let us know if you can referee any of the games.
