    Welcome to Liberty!
    LHS 2018

Liberty is a small rural school district twenty miles south of Spokane serving the communities of Spangle, Fairfield, Latah, Waverly, Plaza and Mt. Hope.  We provide a comprehensive educational program for about 400 students in grades K-12 including FFA, FBLA, robotics, computer assisted drafting, AP courses in English, math, and Spanish as well as interscholastic sports for grades 7-12.  Small class sizes and a close family atmosphere combine for success through individual attention and high accountability.

1-hour late start Mondays Late Start Mondays

Beginning September 10, school and buses will run one hour late each Monday throughout the year, with the one exception of November 19.  These mornings are set aside for staff development.  Breakfast will be served on 1-hour late start days, and students will attend all class periods on a slightly condensed schedule.
    Attendance Reporting Line
Attendance calls and morning bus change messages can be left for both schools by pressing option 8.  Messages are checked first thing each morning and throughout the day.
    Grandparents' Day Breakfast
    Grandparents' Day Breakfast
We had a great turnout for our annual K-8 Grandparents' Day breakfast.  Thank you to all who were able to join us for a special start to the day.  Click here to be redirected to the slideshow of all pictures from the event.
    Sport-a-thon fundraiser
K-8 students are participating in the Sport-a-Thon fundraiser by collecting pledges and support for their sporting event day on September 21.  This is our primary fundraiser for the year, and all proceeds stay at Liberty to support our students.  Contact any Liberty Elementary or Junior High student to donate.
