Liberty School District #362

Maximizing each student's potential today, with tomorrow in mind.

  • Dear Liberty Community,

We want to take a moment to recognize and thank Mrs. Kynda Browning who has stepped down from the Liberty School Board after serving in that position for just over 14 years.  Kynda was appointed to the board in April of 2006 then was elected in 2007 and re-elected 3 more times after that.  The Liberty School District greatly appreciates and thanks Kynda for committing so many years to our district and helping to guide us to be the growing, successful district that we are today.

Kynda’s resignation from the school board now creates a vacancy which needs to be filled.  If you are interested in the possibility of becoming a school board member, please see a copy of the press release attached to this email.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.  Applicants will be screened by the school board and some will be chosen to be interviewed by the school board.  The top interviewee will then be offered a seat on the school board until the November 2021 election when the sitting board member and any other interested citizens will be vying to complete the final two years of the District #1 term.

Please feel free to contact the District Office if you have any questions about the appointment process.
