Welcome To The Amazing Race!

My name is Mrs. Dawn Fuchs and I am so excited to be teaching 5th and 6th grade at Liberty Elementary this year.  I graduated from Whitworth College (now Whitworth University) with my BA in Elementary Education in January of 2003.  I currently have endorsements in Reading, Spanish and Drama.  I also earned my Masters in Education, specially curriculum and instruction from Eastern Washington University in the spring of 2007.  In past years I have taught middle school Spanish, Pre-Algebra, and Drama and high school Drama, Home Economics and Spanish. I am thrilled to be back in the elementary setting this year and can't wait to get my hands into science, reading , writing and math. I love learning and I really enjoy intermediate level students so I know this year will be Amazing!

This year our class room is using an Amazing Race theme as we race to the next grade level. We will have daily Pit Stops (Learning Targets), Road Blocks (individual tasks), Intersections (group or partner tasks), and even Fast Forward Homework passes that students can earn.
